The High Level Bridge will be lit to recognize and commemorate 101st Anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic that was established in 1918 and was one of the first democracies in the world to embrace democratic values such as equal voting rights to all citizens regardless of their race, culture, religion, one of the first nations in the world granting women equal voting rights and participation. Join us on Tuesday May 28, 2019 to celebrate this historically significant occasion that took democratic values to the heart and founded with a premise of respect for humanity and all the citizens back in the early 20th century.
